How You Can Help Our Dayton Neighbors

Monica Roberts | May 31, 2019

In response to the large tornado that touched down in the Dayton area on Monday night, our partner, Convoy of Hope, deployed a Disaster Services team with a tractor-trailer full of relief supplies. These supplies are being distributed in the central hub based in Dayton.

More supplies are expected to be sent in the coming days. Convoy of Hope is in contact with local law enforcement to discuss the needs of additional areas throughout the state that may need help. Learn more about Convoy of Hope.

What can I do to help?

First, pray for everyone affected by this storm.

Second, you can volunteer. We have been in touch with Christian Life Center in Dayton, which is also a Convoy of Hope partner, and they are working in tandem to provide on-the-ground support. Every evening, Christian Life Center is posting the list of projects for the next day. You can see their postings at https://www.facebook.com/ChristianLifeCenter/.

Convoy of Hope is a long-time partner of Vineyard Cincinnati Church. If you wish to learn more about how they help communities in these types of situations, visit https://www.convoyofhope.org/

By working together in a coordinated way, we can make a difference. Thank you for your generosity in giving your time and money to help those where were hit by the tornados!
