What's Happening In Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry?

Clay Harrington | August 23, 2022

Here's a summary of our intercessory prayer meeting held on August 10, 2022:

Adam McIntosh briefly spoke on the challenges with modern-day self-help paradigms where we have been deceived into looking at ourselves, instead of looking at Jesus. Understanding that we have been made a new creation in Christ Jesus. He also touched on anger and how it will rage at the end of the age before Jesus Christ returns.

As we listened and interceded, we felt and heard the following.

  • That storms in our lives will lead to cleansing in some while others will be swept away.
  • We serve a God of hope that will bring joy in the midst of the storms.
  • God’s touch restores.
  • Offense exposes wounds.
  • God offends the mind to reveal the heart.
  • God will grant the freedom to not be offended when storms come.
  • We are excited for all that God is doing at VCC and in our city.

Our next Intercessory Prayer Meeting is Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 6:00am-7:30am in the main building auditorium. We invite you to join us.

If you cannot make it on time/the whole time, no worries the doors remain open during the whole meeting. Come and go as you please!

We end this summary with Ephesians 2:18 “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit of the Father.” We pray that each of you experience the access to the Father that you have been granted through the death of Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit we ask that you awaken each person in our community to experience the beauty of the Father.

In Jesus name,

Amen
