The "Life in Technicolor" Spring Retreat is a chance for students to get out of the ordinary rhythm of school and life to have a deep encounter with God. Memorable moments will be made through games, small groups, response opportunities, and an epic party atmosphere specifically designed to engage your student.

Step into the vivid world of Vineyard Students’ "Life in Technicolor" Spring Retreat on March 1-3, taking place at the Student Union. Cost is $50.

FAQ

I have a child who doesn’t currently attend the Student Union. Are they invited?

Of course! We will have students ranging from weekly attenders to those who might have never stepped foot in a church building. Our messages will be geared to students from any background. Students will be placed in a small group to get to know others in the same grade and gender.

What are the benefits of going to the Spring Thing?

Spring Thing is a chance for students to get out of the ordinary rhythm of school and life to have a deep encounter with God. Memorable moments will be made through games, small groups, response opportunities, and an epic party atmosphere specifically designed to engage your student.

Where will the kids be sleeping?

Students will sleep at host homes provided by the church with other students in their small group and at least two small group leaders. Typically, it will be in a large basement or family room. Every adult (host home and leader) has received a mandatory background check.

Drop-off/pick-up locations & times

Registration - 6:30 PM, March 1, @ Student Union

Pick-up - 12:40 PM, March 3, @ Student Union (like a typical Sunday!)

Are meals provided?

Dinner is NOT provided on Friday night, but every other meal is provided throughout the weekend!

What should students pack?

Students should pack clothes for the weekend (we will most likely be outside on Sat afternoon!), PJs, toiletries, a towel, snacks, Bible, and pen. A more in-depth packing list will be emailed the week of the retreat! Students will receive a t-shirt and booklet as a part of their registration fee.

Are leaders at host homes background checked?

Yes! All leaders and adults associated with Spring Thing will go through a mandatory background check.
