John is a renowned author, scholar, and pastor who has written over 50 books and has been the keynote speaker at 16 Passion Conferences.
He is the Chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the founder-teacher at Desiring God, https://www.desiringgod.org, which is named after his book Desiring God: Meditations of a Christian Hedonist.
John's books include ECPA Christian Book Award winners Spectacular Sins, What Jesus Demands from the World, Pierced by the Word, God's Passion for His Glory, and bestsellers Don't Waste Your Life and The Passion of Jesus Christ.
John and his wife Noël have four sons, a daughter, and twelve grandchildren.
