1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ
Now more than ever, we need instruction and encouragement from God's Word; we need to be connected to our friends and sisters in Christ; and we need to be supporting one another through prayer. These are the hallmarks of Women's Community. Although we are prohibited from meeting in the same physical space for the time being, we intend to move forward with our study, trusting God to do His work in us and confident that there will be a joyful celebration when we come together in the future!
Following is the plan for distribution of Bible study books: Thursday, March 19, a "drive-thru book pick-up" will be stationed right outside the doors of the Vineyard Chapel. Our chapel is stationed at the top of the hill by the roundabout. There will be no need to get out of your car. Please plan to come pick up your book in the drive-thru during one of two time frames: 9:30 am - 11:00 am OR 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. If you typically pay cash or check, I will have a cash box available; I will *not* have an iPad with square, however. If you need to pay via credit card, please go online and register yourself again, and pay with a cc, and I will delete duplicate registrations.
**We will being this study not meeting in person but rather remotely. Participants will be placed in small groups, and leaders will communicate how and when groups will connect.**
Description
Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ.
