In some cases, grants are also available to assist foster families and Safe Families hosts as they prepare for placements.
Grafted is a collaborative effort of NorthStar Community Church and Vineyard Cincinnati Church. Since 2016, the ministry has supported more than 200 adoption and foster journeys.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants are asked to submit copies of their approved home study, their last accepted tax return, and a short application form. Application materials are held in the strictest confidence and are reviewed holistically by an anonymous panel of adoptive and foster families.
INFO SESSIONS
Grafted hosts periodic information sessions to help families explore different avenues through which they might welcome children in need, including:
- International adoption
- Domestic adoption
- Foster care
- Safe Families hosting
- Respite work
